FTIR spectrometer Nicolet 8700 is a variable spectrometric system suitable for the widest possible range of analytical applications. Its extraordinary optical properties ensue from the integration of the latest DSP (Digital Signal Processing) control technology with internal intelligence and a unique arrangement of the optical bank. The use of the Vectra-Piezo interferometer allows for the Nicolet 8700 system the spectral resolution of 0.09 cm-1. The apparatus is very suitable for the diagnostics of polymer materials and composites and it substantially broadens the possibilities to diagnose very small polar and non-polar bonds.
