The Alpha–AT Analyzer (Novocontrol, Germany) represents commercially available equipment for the measurement of dielectric spectra within the frequency range 3e-5 – 4e7 Hz (i.e. some 12 orders of magnitude) with impedance range 0.01 – 10e14 ohm. The Alpha Analyzer allows, among else, the continuous automated measurement in the full frequency range and at programmable temperature changes.
This system is the latest and the most comprehensive equipment for measurements in the field of dielectric relaxation spectroscopy. The system makes possible measurements of capacitances, conductances, resistances and loss factor over the frequency range of 12 decades.
