The R&S® SMU200A vector signal generator is a high-end instrument with excellent performance, which is capable of generating digitally modulated signals in the frequency band from 100 kHz to 6 GHz with up to 200 MHz RF bandwidth. The parameters of digitally modulated signals can be either selected by the user according to particular requirements, or realized by specific modules supporting the digital standards such as WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n) WiMAX IEEE 802.16, LTE/UTRA, etc. Thank to the two-channel independent signal processing it offers real-time generation of 2×2 MIMO with up to 40 fading paths. The device is irreplaceable in experimental verification of developed algorithms and models for wireless communication.
