A 10 Gigabit IXIA XM2-02 protocol analyser is a loading tester of active network elements, which is necessary for complex capture, observation and traffic analysis in data network for all usual rates to 10 Gb/s, especially on 2nd and 3rd layers of RM OSI. This analyser supports effectively faults selection in data transmissions. It is possible to operate with packets from the smallest according to IEEE 802.3 recommendation to jumbo frames, super jumbo frames or jumbograms. The analyser is able to load all tested ports by full duplex pseudo-real traffic together, it has full integrated IPv4 and IPv6. It enables possible port-to-port testing, multicast, broadcast, unicast, port trunk, multi stream, MAC flooding etc. The possibility to define self generated packets is obvious.
