The NI PXIe monitoring receiver consists of the NI PXIe-5665 high-performance three-stage superheterodyne vector signal analyzer up to 14 GHz (containing NI PXIe-5605 downconverter, NI PXIe-5653 RF synthesizer and NI PXIe-5622 150 MS/s 16-bit digitizer), NI PXIe-8262 expansion module supporting real-time data storage using NI HDD-8265 12 TB RAID enclosure, and finally NI PXIe-8133 1.73 GHz quad-core PXI express controller. High flexibility and versatility of the NI PXIe modular architecture controlled by the Visio software allows configuration of such system for both the real-time spectrum analysis and real-time signal sample storage (data logging) in the 50 MHz instantaneous bandwidth, RF spectrum monitoring, signal demodulation, general time-domain signal analysis, or more complex signal analysis using MATLAB or similar software.
