The device 797 VA Computrace in connection with 889 IC Sample Center 846 Dosing interface serves for electrochemical analysis of liquid samples with unknown concentration of ions (e.g. Bi, Se, Pb, Cd, Fe, Cu, Zn, Pt, etc.) and for detection of biomolecules (DNA). Samples are situated in two cooled racks. The maximal number of analysed samples is 96. The sample is dosed by 843 Pump station into the measuring cell. Detection is carried out in the volume of electrolyte ranging 0-10ml with stirring in the range 0-3000 rpm. Detection is based on the three electrode connection: working electrode – HMDE (0.4 mm2 drop area), reference electrode – argentochloride Ag/AgCl/3M KCl and auxiliary electrode – platine, with sensitive potentiostat. Potentiostat measures in current range 5 pA – 80 mA which is automatically adjusted. Data is processed by GPES software. Minimal detectable value is 1 pA.
